Med/High heat, but great taste!
This hot sauce tastes very good. I was looking for a combination of intense heat and flavor, and while this doesn't have the intense heat I'd like, it more than makes up in flavor.
It has a smokey mild garlic flavor with a hint of vinegar (which isn't overbearing at all). For my palette, the flavors are well balanced and it's enjoyable.
As for the heat, it starts off strong, but quickly dies down to a constant medium level of intensity, before disappearing totally after one minute. While I was hoping it would invade my sinuses, it does keeps the heat on your tongue where it belongs.
With all that being said, this is a very good tasting hot sauce that isn't at all sweet, has a wonderful smokey flavor, and compliments foods such as chili and salsa. If you're looking for a delicious sauce to help gauge what hotsauce.com determines scoville levels at for the rest of their sauces, this is a worthwhile buy that won't result in you throwing it away. Definitely recommend the buy...and might even re-buy it in the future when I determine a sauce that'll knock me on my ass with heat.
