It's Cajohn's take on a century old recipe, gifted by an old Cajun friend, Rush Biossat of Maurepas, LA back in 1997 at the Crescent City Brewhouse on Decatur St. in New Orleans. Ingredients: Distilled Vinegar, Chile Peppers, Sugar, Salt, Garlic, Lemon Extract, Xanthan Gum.
This was actually very good. It wasn't good on everything, but the things it was good on, it was really good on. Maybe a 9/10. Green olives and shrimp scampi are amazing with this stuff, and it's at least pretty good on a lot of other things. I stop short of saying this is a must try, but if you are interested enough, go for it! It is quite yummy!
Great balance of habanero and garlic. It's the perfect everyday table sauce for me.
