Melinda's Scotch Bonnet Hot Sauce, 5oz.: You want fire? That’s easy. Anyone can strike a match, but few can strike a balance. A balance where heat and flavor find themselves on equal footing. At Melinda’s, we pride ourselves on striking that perfect balance in every sauce we make. Get ready to set your mouth on flavor.

Melinda’s Scotch Bonnet. The fiery but sweet cousin to our traditional Habanero pepper sauce, with papaya and passion fruit to balance the intense West Indies heat. Made the Melinda’s way: with whole, fresh ingredients and the best peppers on the planet for people who care about those kinds of things. Superb in Bloody Mary’s and bloody well everything.

Ingredients: Scotch Bonnet pepper mash (water, Scotch Bonnet pepper), vinegar, carrots, papaya, salt, lime juice, onion, passion fruit, citric acid, xanthan gum, garlic, ascorbic acid, turmeric.

    Nice Taste, Lots Of Heat

For Me This Is To Hot. I Prefer Something In The Mid-Range Heat. This Has Plenty Of Taste And Plenty Of Heat. Heat Rating Scale 1 Lowest To 10+++ Hottest, This Would Be A 7 Or An 8

A Good, Clean Scotch Bonnet Sauce With Reasonable Heat. Not As Hot As Some Others, But Holds Its Own Well Enough.

    Great Flavor And Decent Heat

Posted by David on Jul 10th 2011

This Sauce, Like All Of The Other Melinda'S Products I Have Tried, Is Worth The Money. You Can See Both From The List Of Ingredients And The Appearance Of The Sauce That This Is Made Fresh With Lots Of Scotch Bonnets (Seeds And Small Pieces Of Diced Sb'S In The Bottle). The Sb Has, To My Tasting, A Kind Of Sweet, Almost Smoky Flavor, And This Sauce Does The Pepper Justice. It Has A Good Heat, And If You Have A Sensitive Tongue, This Will Be Plenty Of Heat For You. If You Are Someone Who Needs More Than 500,00 Shu Before The Heat Registers, You May Be Underwhelmed By The Heat. I Liked This Sauce, And Would Purchase It Again. Goes Great With Fajitas.
