Melinda's Naga Jolokia Hot Sauce Review:

Melinda’s Naga Jolokia Hot Sauce, 5oz.: You want fire? That’s easy. Anyone can strike a match, but few can strike a balance. A balance where heat and flavor find themselves on equal footing. At Melinda’s, we pride ourselves on striking that perfect balance in every sauce we make. Get ready to set your mouth on flavor.

Melinda’s Naga Jolokia. Naga is a close relative to our ghost pepper sauce, crafted with Naga Jolokia peppers from the state of Nagaland in India. It is hot, like over 1 million Scoville units hot. Made the Melinda’s way with whole, fresh ingredients and the best peppers on the planet. Perfect on practically everything serious Chileheads eat.

Ingredients: Habanero pepper mash (water, Habanero pepper), carrots, Naga Jolokia pepper, onions, lime juice, garlic, salt, vinegar, citric acid, xanthan gum.

After My Ghost Pepper Initiation With Dave'S Version Of The Sauce, Which Unfairly Includes Extra 'Hot Pepper Extract', This Sauce Is A Delightfully Pure Taste Of The Ghost!

Lots Of Heat With Lots Of Flavor

Posted by Alex Kozlow on Nov 7th 2012

Most Hot Sauces Ive Tried Use Similar Ingredients For Flavoring And Although They Taste Great, They Can Sometimes Be A Little Bland. This Hot Sauce Has Some Flavoring Ingredients That I Have Never Seen In Other Hot Sauces (Carrots, Papaya, Passion Fruit) And It Definitely Makes This Sauce Taste Unique. Yes It Is Pretty Hot, But As Long As You Don'T Overdo It, This Sauce Adds Really Nice Flavor

    Haawwwt

Previously, I Bought Some Melinda'S Xxxxtra Reserve Habanero Sauce And Wasn'T Impressed At All. Then I Saw That They Made This Naga Jolokia Sauce, And I Had To Try It. Well... This Stuff Is Intense. Definately The Heat I Was Lookin For. Use This Stuff Sparingly! It Doesn'T Take Much To Light Up Your World. One Day, I Put A Few To Many Drops On My Pizza And I Almost Couldn'T Eat It. So If Dousing Your Food With Tabasco Sauce Just Isn'T Cutting It For You, Go Ahead And Buy Some Melinda'S Naga Jolokia Sauce. Enjoy!

    My First Step Into Naga

Posted by Michael Anduha on Apr 9th 2012

Melinda Makes Great Hot Sauces. This Sauce Is No Different. I Am A Newbie When It Comes To Sauces With Extreme Heat, And This Is One Of Them. If You Have Ever Had Xxx Atomic Wings At Wing Hut, This Is Hotter Then That, But Not By Much. As For The Taste For New Chili Heads Like Myself It Will Take A Few Sittings With It To Be Get Through The Heat And Enjoy The Flavor. The Flavor Like Other Melinda Products Is Right On Par. Heat Scale 8 Of 10

    Melinda'S Naga Jolokia Hot Sauce

Posted by Derek King on Apr 9th 2012

This Is Hotter Than I Expected. Not Way Over The Top Spicy But It Has Some Real Nice Heat. I Was Expecting More In The Flavor Department Based On The Ingredients.
