Great sauce! |

This sauce is a keeper. The heat is at the upper reaches of my limit, but that was straight out of the bottle, so as an additive it should be just right. I am fairly new to the Blair's' experience, but so far I am well-pleased with the sauces I have tried. Now, if Blair's could make the Jalapeno Death sauce with the Sudden Death sauces heat level, all would be right with the world!

Great, yet doable, heat. Sudden Death is a notch above After Death yet the heat level is almost identical. Big difference is the exclusion of garlic. After has a heavy garlic flavor ,which I love, but can limit the sauce's versatility. Sudden can be used on a huge variety of foods. I soaked 3 chicken wings in the sauce to try it out. Perfect heat level.

I just got this sauce in today and tried it and oh, it's one of the best hot sauces ever! The flavor is just fantastic and the heat is intense but not unbearable. It doesn't seem hot at first but then the heat gradually builds and builds until finally you're needing a cold drink. In my opinion, Sudden Death tastes better than Mega Death although a bit less hot. I will be enjoying this stuff for a long time.

I have the limited edition 20/20 version of Sudden Death, which is 20% hotter to celebrate Blair's 20th anniversary.
I have quite a few hot sauces on hand at the moment and I use this more than any other. It's hot, but it's not excruciating. I can actually pour this on a burrito and get through it without *too* much pain. The original Sudden Death won't be as hot as my version, and in my opinion, my version barely deserves 4 flames of heat. The original Sudden Death should have 3 flames, not 4. Although, if you are not as accustomed to eating hot stuff as I am, you may find this much hotter.
Flavor-wise, this has a really nice pepper flavor that compliments everything I have put it on so far. It's made with Siberian ginseng, but it's not distinguishable in the flavor. The aroma is a mix of pepper and vinegar. Thankfully the flavor is more on the pepper side, as I don't particularly care for really vinegary hot sauces.
Overall, a great sauce.

When I got this in I was so excited since Blair's Original didn't pack as much heat as I hoped. I sampled this on a toothpick and at first I thought it wasn't so bad, so i sampled again, and BAM! My whole mouth felt on fire. It wasn't like horrible but the heat was definitely there. I liked the taste a lot. I actually kind of enjoy the extract taste and feel. I just put 2 drops in a 16 oz jar of mild salsa and it definitely kicked it up a notch.
