WalkersWood Traditional Jerk Seasoning Hot & Spicy Review:

Walkerswood Traditional Jerk Seasoning Hot & Spicy, 10oz.: This is the Jerk sauce from Jamaica by which all others are measured. Be adventurous and take your taste buds on an island tour. For jerk aficionados, Walkerswood, Jamaica, is Mecca. The tiny village perched above Ocho Rios is home to Walkerswood Caribbean Foods, a small production facility wrapped in the pungent aroma of black pepper, scallions and Scotch Bonnet peppers.

From Jamaica.

Scotch Bonnet peppers, scallions, salt, black pepper, allspice, nutmeg, sugar and thyme. No Fat, No Cholesterol.

    The Real Deal

I Have Been Making Jerk Chicken Using This Seasoning For Almost 20 Years, Much To The Delight Of Family & Friends. After The Chicken Is Lightly Coated In Jerk, I Usually Pour A Couple Shots Of Appleton Rum Into The Bag, Then Let Marinate For 24 Hours. Slow Cook Over Charcoal. Amazing!

I Have Tried A Number Of Jerk Seasonings Over The Years. Busha Browne, World Harbor, Grace, And Sundry Homemade Versions From Kitchens All Over. Walkerswood Has The Best Taste, And Texture I Have Tried. It Sticks To The Meat, Has A Wonderful Aroma, And A Terrific Flavor That Preludes The Heat. Not Too Hot, Not Too Mild. I Found That I Just Used More And More Until I Was Satisfied With The Heat. Great Stuff!
