It Ain't Scotch But It Sure Is Good! This sauce has a remarkable fresh pepper flavor that will waken up most any dish and give it a little kick. This sauce has a bright orange color and an incredible fresh pepper flavor. Although it is made with Scoth Bonnet, it is actually more of a medium hot sauce.

Made in Costa Rica, From California.

Scotch Bonnet peppers, cane vinegar, peaches, salt, sugar, onions, vinegar and turmeric. No Carb, No Preservative, No Calorie, No Fat.

    Sweet, not terribly hot

This is another sauce I originally encountered at Firehouse Subs. The flavor is best described as fruity or even slightly floral. It's not terribly hot, and would make a great addition to the marinade for any sort of light meat, or as a part of a sticky sauce (say, homemade orange chicken.) I would add it to any dish that accompanied fruit, as well, or any sauce that had fruit as a foundation, along with orange marmalade. It's a fun little accompaniment to various fruit-forward dishes.

    Scotch Bonnet

This stuff is delicious. There’s more heat to be desired, maybe blend a little moruga scorpion in and keep the fruity + heat. That being said this sauce is excellent for pork. If I had a gallon of it I would baste every pork loin and chop I grill with it. Delicious.

    Expecting More

Posted by Mikey on Jul 22nd 2011

When I First Opened My Bottle Of Dave'S Gourmet Scotch Bonnet Hot Sauce, I Was Expecting A Hot Sauce With Some Punch Balanced With Other Flavors. The Spiciness Level (Punch) Is Rather Wimpy And Comparable To Normal Tabasco Sauce Or Frank'S Red Hot. I Suppose This Would Be An Excellent Sauce For The Hot Sauce Beginner. The Other Flavors That Offset The Punch Are Way To Vinegary. Truth Be Told, I Was Expecting A Lot More. Not Too Sure What Food This Thick Vinegary Spicy Mixture Could Easily Meld With.

    Simply Delicious

This Sauce Is Absolutely Fantastic! The Taste Is One Of The Best I'Ve Ever Got Out Of A Hot Sauce. The Pepper Taste Is Sweet And Goes With Absolutely Everything. To Those Who Like It Hot, You Might Be Disappointed. This Sauce Is Very Mild. It Gets 5 Stars From Me Due To The Taste And Taste Only. Excellent Work Dave'S!!! My Bottle Is Going Fast!
