Set A Hot-Sauce Lover On Fire

Posted by Christopher J Buchko on May 21st 2014

My Wife Has An Iron Gut And A Bullet-Proof Mouth. She'S The Kind Of Girl That Puts Habaneros In Her Whiskey For An Added Kick (Not Kidding), So I Knew I Needed To Give Her Something To Twist Her Panties And Make Her Eyes Water. Enter Blair'S. I Did A Lot Of Research And Settled On Hotsauce.Com And Blair'S For My Hot Sauce Purchase. I Gave It To Her As An Early Christmas Present And Loved Her Reaction To The Name, The Box And The Little Skull Keychain. She Immediately Wanted To Try It, So I Diluted It With Some Other Hot Sauce And Brought Her A Little Taste. Wow, That'S... Were The Last Words She Said For A While. The Mad Dash For Water Was On. Now She Puts Tiny Drops Of The Sauce In Her Morning Bloody Marys. She'S A Badass And I'M Very Happy With My Blair'S And Hotsauce.Com Purchase.

Never Grill Or Bbq Without It

Great For Marinades And Sauces. The Sweet Flavor Is Perfect For Ribs. Just The Right Amount Of Heat Without Overwhelming The Flavors In Your Meat.

    Good And Tasty Fiery Sauce

Posted by James Becker on Apr 9th 2012

Good And Tasty Fiery Sauce That Brings Instant Heat With A Wonderful And Enjoyable Smokiness. This Sauce Seems To Be A Diluted Version Of Ultra Death To Be Expected. This Sauce Does Not Carry A 'Vinegary' Flavor. Putting The Fire Out After The Fact Seems More Controllable With Water Than The Ultra Death.

Good Flavor But Question Its Heat Rating

Posted by David on Jul 10th 2011

This, Like The Other Hot Sauces From Blair, Has A Great Flavor. As A Full Disclosure, I Am Not An Experienced Chili-Head, But I Had No Problem Handling The Heat From This Sauce. This Is Not Because I Have An Iron Tongue, But I Suspect Is Because The Su Rating May Be Inflated. I Would Buy This Sauce Again Because It Has Heat And A Solid Taste, But When I Can Apply A Sauce Liberally To My Food, It Does Not Have A Su Of Greater Than 500K.

    Mega Good Sauce

Posted by Matt Mcafee on May 2nd 2011

Blair Has A Winner Here, Though This Sauce Never Blipped On My Hot Sauce Radar As Being One To Try Next. However, A Mate Of Mine Recently Lent Me Blair'S Jersey Death And That Brought To Mind All The Years Of Seeing Mega Death And Not Purchasing It. The Main Reason For Not Giving It A Go Was I Had Presumed That It Would Have An 'Extract' Taste. I Know Today That This Is Most Certainly Not True. When I Opened The Bottle And Gave It A Sniff A Few Moments Ago, All I Could Smell Was Habanero Chilis And Sweet Nectar. And The Flavors Concur With My Initial Smell Assessment. Mega Death Is Packed With Light Savory Garlic And Tomato Flavors And The Hab'S Really Do Pull Through To Give It Almost A Chipotle (Another Ingredient) Salsa Vibe. Well Worth The Gamble. Can Already See That I Will Be Buying Much More Of This. Heat? Hot! Hot Enough To Make Your Nose Run, But Not So Hot That You Can'T Taste Its Complexity And Spread It Around On Food A Bit!

    Not What I Expected

Posted by Aaron Bunch on Apr 15th 2011

Most Of The Reviews I Have Read Commend The Bold Flavor And With Ingredients Like Guava And Ginger I Expected Something Tasty, But I Didn'T Really Get It. All I Tasted Was A Strong Flat Heat And Then A Very Slight Aftertaste That Was A Bit Savory. I Have No Idea If The Scoville Rating Is Accurate But This Sauce Is Not Lacking In Heat, A Pea Size Drop Will Light Up Your Mouth For A Good 5 Minutes. A Good Sauce If You Want Something Hot That Won'T Clash With Anything But I Wouldn'T Buy Again.
