Melinda's Scotch Bonnet Hot Sauce, 5oz.: You want fire? That’s easy. Anyone can strike a match, but few can strike a balance. A balance where heat and flavor find themselves on equal footing. At Melinda’s, we pride ourselves on striking that perfect balance in every sauce we make. Get ready to set your mouth on flavor.

Melinda’s Scotch Bonnet. The fiery but sweet cousin to our traditional Habanero pepper sauce, with papaya and passion fruit to balance the intense West Indies heat. Made the Melinda’s way: with whole, fresh ingredients and the best peppers on the planet for people who care about those kinds of things. Superb in Bloody Mary’s and bloody well everything.

Ingredients: Scotch Bonnet pepper mash (water, Scotch Bonnet pepper), vinegar, carrots, papaya, salt, lime juice, onion, passion fruit, citric acid, xanthan gum, garlic, ascorbic acid, turmeric.

    Always A Good Choice

Posted by Gene on Sep 5th 2016

While My Favorites Are Trinidad Hot Habenero Sauce And Matouks West Indies, This Is Always One I Buy Just For A Little Variety. A Little Milder Both In Heat And Flavor Than The Other Two, But Good For Changing Things Up.

    Scotch Bonnet Hot???

Posted by Wesley Seamon on Sep 23rd 2013

For The Pepper Having The Reputation As The World'S Hottest, This Sauce Did Not Make The Grade For Temperature. I Found It To Be About The Same Level Of Heat As Habanero. It Did Have Sweet Taste That Made It Very Favorful To The Taste. I Will Probably Buy This Product Again.

    Scotch Bonnet Hot Sauce

Posted by Paul Brath on Sep 23rd 2013

The Process Of Ordering Online Was Favorable, But Being Unfamiliar With This Pepper, I Ordered This Sauce Thinking It Would Be Very Spicy. Unfortunately, I Did Not Realize That It Wasn'T Straight Pepper Sauce, But Was Mixed With Fruit, Etc., And It Didn'T Pass The Very Hot Test Of My Sons. I Did Not Add It To My Goat Curry, But The Boys Did Add It To Their Individual Plates, And Really Enjoyed It. Thank You For Sending My Order In A Timely Manner, And If Ever I Need Hot Sauce, I Will Visit You Again.
