Melinda's Naga Jolokia Hot Sauce Review:

Melinda’s Naga Jolokia Hot Sauce, 5oz.: You want fire? That’s easy. Anyone can strike a match, but few can strike a balance. A balance where heat and flavor find themselves on equal footing. At Melinda’s, we pride ourselves on striking that perfect balance in every sauce we make. Get ready to set your mouth on flavor.

Melinda’s Naga Jolokia. Naga is a close relative to our ghost pepper sauce, crafted with Naga Jolokia peppers from the state of Nagaland in India. It is hot, like over 1 million Scoville units hot. Made the Melinda’s way with whole, fresh ingredients and the best peppers on the planet. Perfect on practically everything serious Chileheads eat.

Ingredients: Habanero pepper mash (water, Habanero pepper), carrots, Naga Jolokia pepper, onions, lime juice, garlic, salt, vinegar, citric acid, xanthan gum.

    Very hot and Fruity

If you want an extremely hot sauce, look no further. This reminds me a lot of Matouk's Hot Pepper Sauce Salsa Picante, but even fruitier and hotter. Wonderful aroma and flavor. Definitely one of my favorites from HotSauce.com so far.

    Great product

I can't find this version of Melinda's locally. I can normally only find this flavor at a IGA store 3 hours away on the Oregon coast. As this sauce has been the gateway to hot sauce consumption for many of my coworkers I needed some ASAP as my 5 bottle from February have run out. Thanks for the fast delivery. :)

    Oh My Goodness

I love hotsauce and got this in my stocking. I had no idea what to expect and had never heard of the pepper. This stuff is hot! The heat keeps creeping up up up and stays hot for a while. Great flavor which is the problem. It is chunky and red thick fresh peppery. It just seems like the kind of stuff you want to pile on. Don"t do it

This Is A Classic Hot Sauce For Me. Perfect Level Of Spice Where It'S Pretty Spicy But A Bit Too Much Won'T Ruin A Meal.

    This Started My Addiction

My Father Ordered A Bunch Of Hot Sauces And Did Not Realize How Hot This Was. Fast Forward About 4 Years And I Always Have A Bottle Of This Stuff. The Flavor And Heat Was Unmatched For Me Until Ass In The E.R. Came Along. This Hot Sauces Got Me And A Friend Into The Superhots And Extracts. It Is Truly A Great Starting Point.

    Solid Hot Sauce

Posted by Larry on Sep 5th 2016

Interesting Hot Sauce....Really Like It. I Got It Because I Was Looking To Bump Up My Heat Level From Habanero Staples In My Fridg Such As Marie Sharp'S Carribean Heat And Yucateco Xxx. I Don'T Think This Sauce Is All That Much Hotter, But It'S Got A Bit More Sting, In A Good Way. What I Really Like About It Is That It'S Kind Of Neutral. It Adds Heat And Has A Nice Flavor, But The Flavor Isn'T Overly Powerful. Thus Can A Few Drops Of It Be Added To A Soup, Chili, Or Even A Dish I'M Using Other Hot Sauce On, To Pump Up The Scovilles Without Fundamentally Altering The Essence Of The Food. I Didn'T Expect It To Use It Frequently, But 2 Or 3 Bottles Later It'S Sort Of Evolved Into My Go-To Hot Sauce. Heat Wise I'D Put It At A 7, Maybe A Generous 8. No Way Is It The Scorching Pain Experience Some Others Have Described. I'Ve Had Way, Way Hotter Sauces, But Usually With Extract Added. This One Is, Thankfully, Extract Free.

    Flavorful Heat

I Can Only Add A Few Drops Of This To Anything. It'S Extremely Hot. I Put It In Soups, Mostly As The Flavor Dissipates And Spreads Evenly Throughout.
